Quick Facts About META

A: Yes

Q: Do you need to be an LBP inspector in order to become a LBP risk assessor?
A: Yes

Q: Where do I get an application form to get a license in my state?

A: If there is a state licensing program, the application will be available from the licensing agency (which varies from state to state). Check out our links on this website to the various agencies. If you are training with META, be sure to ask for a class that qualifies in the states in which you are interested in working. Generally the application forms are included in your class materials.

Q: When do I need to pay for my training?
A: 5 business days or 7 calendar days prior to the start of the class.

Q: When am I to expect my certificate?
A: If payment is received 5 business prior to the start of the class, you can expect it at the end of the class.

A: Current previous certificate needs to be faxed to our office or submitted online.

Q: Does META provide financing?
A: META may be able to facilitate financing through a third party, depending on your financial status.

Q: What happens if I don't pre-register for a class?
A: You may not be allowed to enter a session unless pre-registration and payment has been made to META.

Q: Does META train in other languages?

Q: Can META come to my location?
A: Yes. Call us to finalize details.

Q: Which accredited courses can be taught in a language other than English?
A: In the US, only asbestos and LBP worker level courses can be taught in any other language other than English.

Q: In which States/Regions is META training approved?

A: Each class may be separately accredited by federal, state, and tribal agencies, each with potential training location restrictions that add complexity to the answer. Call us with your needs and we will help you plan your training program.

Q: How long can an asbestos or LBP training day last?

A: 8 hours.

Q: Do I need to always select or communicate to my META customer service specialist the specific States where I would like my certificate to be approved in?
A: Yes, even though META might be approved to conduct training in the State that you wish to work, META still needs to notify the course to such specific State; therefore, it is critical that you let your META representative know where you're planning to work or get licensed at. Being an approved training provider does not mean that each class taught outside the jurisdiction will be recognized without prior planning.

Q: Can META customize classes that meet my organization's specific needs?
A: Yes. We can customize certain classes with a specific emphasis on your industry and develop material for your organization as well.
